IPO_logobkgDid you hear? I won the Independent Party of Oregon nomination!

Through a write-in process, Independent party voters chose me as their candidate in House District 52. Now, I will be listed as both the Republican and Independent nominee on the ballot for the general election in November. It is an honor to have such strong support from IPO voters in my district, especially because this is the first time they are able vote as a majority party. I have worked in a bipartisan fashion to deliver results for my constituents and to ensure that the voices across House District 52 are heard in Salem.

Sal Peralta, secretary of the Independent Party of Oregon, said this about my nomination: “Independent and non-affiliated voters recognized Representative Johnson’s bipartisan leadership in Salem and selected him as their candidate in House District 52. We strongly endorse his campaign for re-election so that he can continue to provide a balanced approach in the legislature.”

I’m excited to continue this momentum as we build a strong campaign for re-election.
Thank you for your ongoing support and I look forward to connecting with you again soon!
